The kitchen

I've been so busy living in and loving my new kitchen that I haven't taken the time to update this blog with photos. But the time has come!This first shot is Josh and Johnny building a wall with some demolition help from Blake's friend Klemen. We turned the old kitchen into our laundry room and the old living room into our kitchen.
But before they built the wall between the two rooms they had to get rid of this wall that stuck out too far into the kitchen. Brandon Gentry was here for that work as you may well remember.
This shot is taken from where the wall was built and looks at our kitchen table. I LOVE having an island. We do so much cooking and entertaining and it is the place that I work from the most! Notice the outlets on the island! Happy thought indeed!
Here's the view from the hall between the kitchen and the living room. I just can't believe this is my kitchen! It's a joy to work in! And probably all the more knowing that my husband put so much thought into designing a place that would suit our family needs and our ability to minister from our home!
