Things are always changing here at the Patty house! One of the things about living overseas is that we've often had hard wood floors. I like them. Easier to keep clean. And usually look cleaner than they really are! But Blake has inherited his father's love of American carpet. Whenever we go to the US it's sure to be something that Blake comments on. "I just love the carpet! They have carpet! I wish we had carpet!"
So when we moved and I mentioned to Josh that the 13 year old living room carpet had seen it's fair share of action; Blake was quick to speak up and ask for it in his bedroom. As soon as we moved it into his room he's enjoyed it. Even vacuuming without being asked!
But Josh and I could smell the dog permeating his room and sometimes the upstairs. So we found some carpet that qualifies with Blake on "feeling American" and with us on cost and put it in this week.
I have to say that now I'm wondering if maybe I might be wishing for carpet in my bedroom.
