The front door step

We keep laughing about all the idiosyncracies of this house! The door frames aren't straight. Many doors upstairs are warped. The radiator in Blake's room is huge while the radiator in the living room is tiny. One of the first things we wanted to do when we moved in was get a grate to cover the hole you step in before entering the house. Well, now we know why the former owner lived here 30 years but never put one in. The cement isn't lined up. So grates are too big on one side and too small on the other. I'm glad I've married a man who is so capable! My dad used to watch the Red Green show and the guy would always say, "If the women don't find you handsome they should at least find you handy!" Luckily for me Josh is both!
