Helping Hands

Last weekend we had a work day at the house with our new interns. Welcome to Slovenia! We are very excited to have this group here serving for the summer and their willingness to help us personally with our overwhelming work project was a real blessing. I love this shot of Rachel! She pulled up all the edging on the floors so we could paint walls and sand off the old gunk from the past.

This is the back of Chris's head and you can see Tim working at sanding the edges off the ceiling to make it smooth for painting. I thought my camera lens was dirty and tried to take the shot again, only to realize that the air was just so thick with the dust!
Another Tim and his wife Kayla took over the basement room that will serve as our garage. There's no garage at this place so this will be the site to house Josh's tools, camping equipment etc. It was painted a deep blue and the pipes were painted bright red. Mold was growing in a couple corners as well. Yuck. But Tim and Kayla got right in there and it looks like a totally different room!
