Believing God

I keep thinking that soon I'll be updating this site with the news that we've gotten the house. But the Lord has his own time line and I want you to be along with us as we see what He does. Every day there are ups and downs and I hardly know what to write because although things are happening it seems like there's nothing to report. The owner can be wishy washy as to price and whether or not he'll even sell. The dollar rate fluctuates. Interest rates are remarkably good these days. Many people have given specifically to our house project. Eastern European paperwork keeps sneaking up on us. One minute it's good, then it looks like it's never going to happen.

The most recent news is that we've made the owner two offers that he has turned down. Josh made him a third offer last Wednesday and we haven't heard back from him. Not unusual as we normally have to call him back for his answer. We aren't going thru a realtor which will make things cheaper in the end but it slows down the lines of communication.

Real estate in Slovenia has dropped off by 70% in sales. But remarkably no one is lowering their prices.

What we do know is that God set us on this path. We've been very content in our home and yet the Lord opened these doors and we've been following him all along. Learning so much about faith, waiting on God's timing and actions that express faith. Thanks for praying with us!
